Hearing that hurricane Matthew has destroyed parts of Cuba is sad. Hearing that it also killed over 800 people in Haiti, which is still trying to get back to normal from an earthquake in 2010, is heart-wrenching.

What can average Joe do to help? Keep traveling and maybe tourism can contribute to getting the islands that has suffered during the hurricane back on its feet.
